With Pee-wee's return in Pee-wee's Big Holiday, I did this digital painting to recount some of the fun memories I had watching him back in the day. It was also fun to try and explain this world to my two kids. This project also marks the first time I collaborated with my oldest daughter (8 yrs old) on a painting. She's pretty proud of her contributions to the image! (the dinosaur wallpaper pattern, all of the text and general color choices) She's an art director in the making :)
